Climate Change

— How much have you learned about climate change in school? What do you believe about it?
We haven't learned about the climate change all that much in school, personally I take environmental science and we haven't talked about it much in that class either. So the whole idea and facts about climate change being taught or learned in school are very slim.

— How compelling do you find this most recent report to be?
It's pretty compelling because it goes to show that global warming is a real thing and it's actually happening. Lots of people just think it's a bunch of lies and theories but scientists have proved that the earth is in fact experiencing global warming. So I definitely think this article compelling because it really talks about what is happening and what we need to do to slow down the whole process or at least try to do.

— How much does the topic concern you in general? Why?
Personally the topic doesn't concern me all that much. Obviously it's a problem that needs to be resolved but it's not something that I think about. There's problems that affect me more directly that I worry about, therefore I don't concern myself with the climate change.

  2. Niko I agree that we haven't been taught very much this year about climate change, but in foundations and bio I learned about it, although it was a relatively short overview.

  4. I agree with the point you brought up about how school doesn't thoroughly discuss the climate change topic.
